I got the same problem today. Bought my Legion Y720 before one week. Once I got the same picture like you, but in my case it is dynamic, and changing between this and black screen. Sometimes after a while (around 20 seconds) I can get login screen. Other times i must restart laptop. See attachment video. I'm a new immigrant from Linux. I don't know how to get hardware information on this OS but I remember I'm using a 4th gen i5 processor. Screen tearing is bad when watching youtube video with HD quality on Iridium. Please help. Linux is somewhat better but the only OS with to tearing at all is Windows.
