This is the only way you can use this command. If you have marry_anyone disabled (default), running this command will enable it, allowing you to marry anyone in the game. If the AI would at least avoid marrying off every female child quite as aggressively, there would be some hope for the prominent characters to secure a spouse and breed. There do exist legally permissible ways of acquiring one: you could marry into the ruling family with the hopes of them having a child of your dynasty with a claim on the land, you could have the head of your faith sanction a claim upon them, and the like.
So now I have characters who are the descendants of a plethora of Saints, Crusader Kings, Great Conquerors, Great Rulers, and four out of the required five Historic Bloodlines and I currently have no way to access the fifth one I need. I might have to wait for Genghis Khan to show up and find some way to breed his family line into mine.

Dec 08, 2014 · I've tried a few games in the normal CK2 but playing a LP/King seems a lot more complicated in terms of who to go to war with etc. Speaking personally, I recommend playing a few games as a Lord, a High Lord, and then a Lord Paramount in Westeros to get a rough idea of how the basics work.

Look at your heir's stats and see which two are the lowest, then have him marry someone that is high in them to help out with ruling. Or, a women that is really good in the one thing you need most, like Military or Diplomacy.
The game makes women completely infertile at 45 (see CK2 wiki), so you would not be able to have children. Even if the people in the chain somehow managed to have children immediately after marriage at 16 (practically impossible) that would still make your grandmother 48 when you're first eligible to marry her, past her child bearing years. If you’ve never played crusader kings before I’d highly recommend playing the tutorial and using YouTube for anything you’re unsure on. I’m no expert by any means! Total wars are usually good, like the historical and warhammer ones. Britannia didn’t have enough diversity between the factions to warrant multiple play throughs IMO.
